Port-en-Bessin is located between Grandchamp and Arromanches, in the heart of the Le Bessin region. The city's port, 2.5 km away, is worth seeing. There, fishing is still seen as a craft. The medieval town of Bayeux also offers many cultural highlights.

Het zwembad is bij goed en warm weer een mooie uitkomst. Echter vond ik het huisje best klein maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. Helaas ontbreek het bij het dorpje van Port-en-Bessin-Huppain aan een strand maar aan de andere kant kent het plaatsje Port-en-Bessin leuke, gezellige en goede restaurants en is er ook wel veel te zien in het haventje en aan de kust. We hebben ons niet verveeld.

We hadden een fantastische gezinsvakantie hier, De kinderen vonden de ruimte om rond te rennen, en de volwassenen genoten van het uitzicht op de golfbaan, De gastheren waren vriendelijk en gastvrij, wat ons verblijf nog beter maakte
